Oilas RV Park

It’s a very nice and quiet place my wife, kiddos and I love staying here we stay here every time we come out to West Texas.

My family and I were out there for a little over a year and it was a pretty decent park. It’s definitely not the nicest, but it’s big enough to walk your pets comfortably and it’s mostly pretty quiet. However, the owners left an alcoholic named Joe to manage the park. He has days where he’s super nice and helpful, but when he gets to drinking he will forget that he has already collected rent and accuse you of lieing to him. He has personally trash talked about most of his tenants to my husband and admitted to charging more for rent to other people. We had trouble with our water leaking and he took months to get it fixed cause he “had plans” on the weekends. Electric at this park has reversed polarity at the electric box. I would not hook up. If you’re having trouble blowing fuses and circuit boards going out, it’s because of of reverse polarity. This will destroy your A/C and refrigerator over time and your power inverter, your power inverter runs all of your 12 volt, lights, refrigerator,stereo , charges your battery etc.

The owners have no respect for their tents . They were both told 2 times by the sheriffs department not to come to our camper before my fiancé came home at 7 pm . They told us they we never told that . I was with the Sargent and deputy when they were told . They also called after we moved out and said that we owed them money . Had all my records to prove different . The new manger told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about . Then called me back and told me that I was correct that I didn’t owe them money .

Probably the best park in Midland, Nice, Quiet, and Spacious, the Manager Joe real nice and friendly guy recommend it 100%. I will definitely return.
