Ohio River Cabins

My husband and I stayed at the daybreak cabin this past weekend for his birthday. We both woke up Sunday morning covered in bites, I called brad after we were home and told him about it,he basically laughed it off and told me it was mosquito bites or chiggers said we probably went into the woods. We never left the cabin except to walk to the hot tub outside, he told me he would check for bedbugs but didn't think that was what our bites are, and would call me back which he never did. Today we both got prescriptions from our dr for bedbug bites!! We would appreciate a call back and a refund. This is ridiculous and not a good way to conduct business. I told brad I wasn't going to leave a review and wouldn't have if he would have called me back.

My wife and I stayed in the Daybreak cabin December 25-28. When we first looked at pictures online it didn’t look that bad looking (nice enough that we was willing to give it a go) and reviews was pretty good. When we went inside we immediately realized that the pictures we seen online we old. It was one of them moments that you say, you look better in person than your picture. It was very nice and cozy. The house keeper was outstanding. We thought by it being Christmas Day that we arrived the cabin would cleaned a day or so before. But, you could tell everything was freshly done. We did happen to see the house keeper later that day ( Yes, on Christmas) getting another cabin refreshed for another family that was do in. The management and staff is great! We will definitely be staying at one

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the DAYBREAK in Derby. I loved we never had to see one person in order to check in. I loved we had our own private hot tub. BRING SNACKS as there was only convenience store type grocery stores nearby. Verizon had service while we were there, Google Fi service was spotty. The location was peaceful. It was affordable and we would go again. Not luxurious. Quiet and relaxed.

Was very surprised by how much room there was. Has everything you could possibly need ! Plenty of space inside and out! The hot tub was heavily and no worries about privacy. I give this place uncountable stars. The owners are great, treated us like family not guests. Thank you!

Edited 05/16/2024: I have tried to contact Brad through email and phone and he does not answer. It is nice that it is contact free check in but to never be able to get in touch with the manager??? Amazing and spacious cabin at an amazing price. Gorgeous place with nearby store and bar. Loved the hot tub!!!
