Ocqueoc Cabins & Campsites

Cozy, clean little cabins ideal for a short stay in the area. We have been up twice this fall and stayed in the same cabin both times. I would definitely recommend this place! Close to Rosa's for wonderful pizza and Italian, and just down the road from the 40 mile point lighthouse. Nice new coffee maker, just bring your coffee and filters and you can brew a full pot in the mornings in stead of having to go out to get it.

VERY clean cabins in a perfect location for exploring the lake Huron shoreline, local lighthouses, trails and state parks. Kind and thoughtful owners who were quick to help with questions and provide any information needed. Nicely updated rooms and a very cute setting with a beautiful community firepit. Thankful to have found this little gem!

This was our 2nd year coming here with our daughters softball team. Cabins are so cute and clean and perfect for a weekend of softball! Nice being able to hangout with everyone around the beautiful campfire. Owners are great and very accommodating! Hoping we come here again next year!

Leaving one star because I can't leave zero. Super disappointed with the entire ordeal. Communication was great for two weeks prior to the trip, we get the email with the code for cabin, try to open it and the keypad was dead. Emailed 6-7 times for help, waited over 2 hours for a response or some sort of help. No one is on site to help with anything, so we ended up having to drive almost an hour to Alpena to find a room since everything around was booked due to the nautical festival. So that was extra gas and extra money I had to pay on top of what I paid for the cabin we didn't get to use. And I still haven't gotten a response from anyone about it. My partner and I have stayed at this establishment for the past 5 years, and this unfortunately was our last time. As this property changed hands to new owners, so did a lot of things about the property. The first and most important thing for EVERYONE to know, is that they do not change the codes in the doors. We found this out when we rented the same cabin as a year ago, same code. When we brought this up and mentioned how uncomfortable it made us, we were told we could either stay or they would refund us if we wanted to go somewhere else. So, just so everyone knows, anyone that stayed in any of those cabins has the code and could return at any time, or could give the code to anyone they want. The owners aren’t bothered by it.
