Ocean Park Resort

This is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are incredibly clean. The management and workers were kind and fixed anything very quickly. We are within walking distance of two grocery stores and great places to eat breakfast. The ocean is also within walking distance. Enjoy!!!

The 'don't judge a book by its cover' saying applies perfectly to the Ocean Park Resort. ||Had every other RV park we called not been full for the week, we'd have headed elsewhere upon arrival. We ended up loving our time here, though! We would very happily return if passing through the area again.||THE GOOD: The owners are helpful, very friendly, and were great with our boys. Excellent stop for families! Our boys (ages 2 to 11) enjoyed the McDonald's-esque playground. They especially enjoyed the many paths for bike riding and, of all things, a mound of dirt the owner kindly allowed them to dig in and play forts in. This is an RV park with a few motel units. It is within walking distance of two grocery stores and two restaurants. It is about a five block walk to beach access. Park is in reasonable shape and had space for longer RVs.

The service at Oceanpark Resort is excellent! The showers are the best bargain you'll find at a campground for .25 cents for 5 minutes of hot water, truly! I'm rating the park at a three for two reasons: The website touts it's a shaded property. Not so much. Our site, as were most others we could see, was in the full sun. I'm glad the weather was usual coastal cool. Also, there was a mighty mercury light to illuminate the area where we were parked, at night, all night.
