Observatory at Alta Lakes

We stayed at The Observatory this August for our wedding, and I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and our 7 friends stayed in the cabin with plenty of room, and it was the most magical place we could’ve asked for to get married. Mattie and Nicole made the entire process smooth and easy from booking to check out. We made a lot of changes before we get there, and they accommodated them all so easily and were able to add people to our reservation with no issue. Nicole was communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout all of our communications! Mattie helped us out once we arrived, and he is awesome and such a cool dude! I need to start by saying Nicole is an absolute ANGEL. She made the planning process for this very anxious bride, a BREEZE! I kept thinking, “this millionth question is going to finally be too much” but it was never too much. Nicole answered every single question with such grace, patience and even a refreshing sense of humor. 🥹 Now on to the Observatory…as everyone keeps saying, it is truly a unique and magical experience. I had family from ages 2 to 72 and it was definitely an experience of a lifetime. Matty was super helpful and welcoming upon arrival! He gave us the tour and was very accommodating. Absolutely beautiful and a very comfortable place however MUST have at least a 4x4 to get there the road is no joke
