Oak Ridge International Hotel & Conference Center

Lovely setting and fantastic architecture. Not your run of the mill chain hotel. Staff were great and food was quite good. We got a good rate for our team stay in the off-season. Rooms are small and dated at the time of our stay. A nice experience currently suited to larger groups. A little off the beaten path - but that's a plus not a negative in this case. Would stay again.

I was a guest of the hotel as my primary reason for staying so I would say the motel was excellent, staff was friendly, room and property was kept clean. Our only issue was that we had no notification of a prom that was being held in the restaurant and had planned on eating a quiet dinner after a long day of flights and travel. We were able to have a very nice dinner in the bar but it was very loud due to the dance 3 floors down in the restaurant. When we returned to our room it could no longer be heard so we had no complaints with the room itself. Ultimately we still had a very nice meal and evening we just had to talk louder than normal.

This hotel is very modern and beautiful. There are nice outdoor and indoor lounging areas and there is a nice walking/jogging path around the pond out back. The hotel was nearly completely empty when we stayed there in July 2020 due to Covid preventing them from hosting large events so it was very easy to stay socially distanced. The one odd thing about this place is that there is no signage outside nor on the building to indicate that you are at the right place let alone the main entrance. Very convenient is you are going to the MN Landscape Arboretum.

The scenery was gorgeous. The room, not so much. No hair dryer, microwave or refrigerator (You can get those in a Motel 6). The double beds were spongy and the pillows were the kind that you can buy at Wal Mart. Why is the carpet sticky? The walls were cracked and chipping. You have to park a really long away from the entrance(s).... All in all, the whole 'faded glory' thing wore thin within an hour, or so. I was here for a 2-day business meeting and will recommend that we not use this place again. The employees were wonderful, though, they just need to perform some basic maintenance and update the rooms to something more appropriate for the wonderful building. . . .

Great, unique place to stay. Staff was extremely nice and our rooms were very clean. Only draw-back was that our room-size seemed a little tight. Shoulda known that going in, but didn't do a bunch of research first. Really my own fault that I was a little shocked. Loved the location, design, and employees!
