Oak Ridge Campground

This is a nice Campground for RV up to 30’. Very quiet and lots of hiking trails. Bathroom and showers were very clean with hot water. $26 per night. Close to Marine Corp Museum and Mt Vernon. Must reserve using recreation.gov.

The campsite is spacious, well maintained, and offers good privacy from neighboring sites. It sits right along the river and includes a large metal storage box to keep food safe from bears. Each site has its own fire pit and grilling area. Vehicles are not allowed directly at the campsite, so you’ll need to walk a few minutes from the parking lot. Carts are available there to help transport your camping gear. The restrooms and shower facilities are kept clean and well maintained.

Absolutely great place to camp It does have very limited cell service

Loved camping here for a Saturday night in August. Was able to book B1 for 26$ just 3 days in advance. Great spacious campsite which could fit two cars, and a 6-person tent quite easily. Slept very soundly - it's very peaceful, and the temperature was pretty perfect too. Loved the showers with hot water. Went for a morning run on the Farms to Forest Trail, and that's right at the entrance to the campground. This place is just 10 minutes from the I-95, so great overnight rest stop for anyone on a long drive.

My family enjoyed this campground. We got lucky we booked a camp site next to other family with kids. Lots of kids for our kids to play with. On Saturday night we heard owls near the camp host on loop A.
