Norwegian Bay Cottage

Beautiful scenery. Cute & clean cottage. Close to bars & restaurants. Didn't care for hike from parking area to cottage. We had to make several trips from car to door. Also had an extremely annoying TV to figure out. Had to call the owners numerous times but they were very helpful. Don't plan on taking a shower unless you're short & shaped like a straw. We couldn't fit in it. It's ridiculously small. Plan on bathing in the lake.

We had 6 adults, one child and a pup stay at the Norwegian Bay Cottage. It is a small, but mighty space with beautiful views. The bunkhouse is a nice addition to help with space. We enjoyed our time relaxing at the cabin and exploring the area! The hosts are SUPER nice and gave us some great suggestions for our stay. Thank you Nick and family for opening your cottage to us to stay!

Great cottage for a family getaway. Lake Poygan and the wolf river has amazing fishing all year. Spring walleye and whitebass runs are world class while summer and winter months provide tons of walleye, pike, bass and panfish opportunities. Lots do around the area and a great place to crash with the UTVs as trails surround the county. The host family will make sure you have a wonderful stay!

We stayed here a number of years ago. The cottage is very small but also very comfortable and cute. 2 stars deducted because our weekend here was anything but quiet or peaceful. We unknowingly rented the cottage the 1st weekend of duck hunting. We were woken up both days, well before dawn, by endless hours of gunshots and were unable to sleep all weekend. The cottage owner was apologetic for the less than ideal experience. I would return, but only after confirming that it was not during any active hunting season.

Norwegian Bay Cottage was the absolute perfect getaway for my family and I! The seclusion is just enough to feel "off the grid" yet there are grocery stores, restaurants and bars all within a short driving distance. The cottage was pristine and the decor made you feel home-y and comfortable. The lake that the cottage is settled on is large and beautiful to look at every morning while sipping your coffee. We ended up bringing our jetski and had a ton of fun zipping around. A dock is provided for your watercraft, if you decide to bring one. We would highly recommend a stay here and will be back again next Summer!
