Northwoods Inn & Cottages

Was not sure what we were going to get but was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Had a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Nice little balcony with a table and two chairs. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Would stay again.

We have stayed at Northwoods Inn and Cottages on several occasions, sometimes for extended periods with family or friends from Europe. The rooms are all newly remodeled, very clean and comfortable. The cottages are amazing. Newly remodeled, private, smart design, very clean, and comfortable, and my favorite. Privacy with an outdoor deck and barbecue grill - gorgeous view of Bear Lake and the surrounding woods/hills. Close to major trails and the state park in Moose Lake. The owners are very informed and helpful - Customer Service is excellent. A pleasure to come back to time and again. Highly recommended.

Pretty nice place, small but cozy. Pretty good rates. I had a good time staying here during smaller vacations. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Pretty good experience.

I have stayed here twice both times the staff was very pleasant. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. And it had a nice size flat screen Tv. I think that the price of the room was a bit expensive for what you get. Even though the rooms are large the bathrooms are tiny and most places for that price you get a continental breakfast here there is tiny little coffee pot. Easier to just wait and run up to the gas station and get a large coffee if your a big coffee drinker like I am. I would sty here again.

The Ritz-Carlton this is not. However, if you're looking for an extremely friendly staff, and extremely clean rooms, look no further. I was really impressed with how clean and nice the rooms were. Basic Furniture basic bedding but extremely clean! I ran my finger on the top of a painting and it was spotless :-)
