Northstar Motel

Overall clean and did the trick.|A very retro motel, straight out of the 70's with the dark wood paneling. |The bedspread looked like it was still hanging around from the 70's as well. |The owner was super friendly and nice. The room was clean, the sheets and towels were clean and there was lots of hot water for showers. Bed was quite firm and not to comfy. |A/C did not do a great job cooling the room, we bought a fan from the Dollar store to help keep us cool. |A great place to stay if you are coming up to get dirty (4 wheel or work in the woods). If you are looking for comfort and luxury, try elsewhere.

For the price this place is 5 stars! Clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Easy to get on and off trails. We will be staying here again.

For the price and the area it is a great place to stay. Forewarning.... There is NO refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker in the room. I always bring my own 4 cup maker. The beds are comfy. It is very nice that there is a supper club right across the street. Literally walking distance, with great burgers. They have chairs in from of the rooms so if you have a group staying for an event it is nice to be able to sit outside and visit rather than being stuck in a room. There is a dollar store and a gas station about a quarter mile down the road which is very convenient in case you forgot something. Overall, it is a nice place to stay. Everytime I come to Townsend to visit overnight I stay here. It's not high class, but it has what you need. I highly recommend it.

I booked a room for 2 nights and was very happy. The rooms do not appear to be much, compared to the hotels you stay at nowadays. But for a small motel, their rooms are very clean and comfy. Perfect place for people needing a place to sleep for one night or more. And the price is very reasonable and the staff is so nice. They do not serve breakfast, but that doesn't matter much because there are fantastic breakfast venues less than five minutes down the road from them in Lakewood. I recommend the 4 Seasons. :)

Fair room price.Great perks like free play money and a credit towards the restaurant. I had a very simple supper,so I can't say how the steaks or specials were. The environment in the restaurant was perfect and the staff was fun and professional.
