North Winona Beach Resort

My favorite lake to go swimming even though I have to drive 25 miles (it’s well worth it!) Both ladies that work in the office are really nice. Not understanding all the negative comments. 🤔

Wonderful 4 day trip with daughter. Stayed in older but very clean cabin with teenage daughter. She got her "tiny house" experience. Cabin was a little bit of a walk, across a busy road, to get to the resort beach. Not ideal for small children, but there are a few cabins closer to the beach, so be sure to ask about. Bed linens and all cooking and eating dishes supplied. Resort staff and locals very friendly. Store and restaurant on site. We were there during the middle of the week, so we didn't have an opportunity to sample the restaurant but several locals recommended.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time kayaking and playing in the water. Quiet at night and clean facilities. We had a sweet couple parked behind us that stay there all summer. They helped us park and took our entire family for a fun boat ride. Hope to see them next year.

We spent 5 wonderful days at this resort in July. It is well maintained and the couple that owns it are great hosts and care that all their guests have a great time. Nice RV sites on the grass by the water... setup your chairs right on the water, no need to go down to the swim area. There is also a little store that sells necessities like ice, beer and drinks. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great time exploring the lake. Will definitely return.

My Father in Law had a stroke while camping on Waitts lake with my son. The next morning I drove there to pick up the tent and camping gear. I drove through Silver Lake Resort looking for their car and camp site. When I couldn’t find it, I parked in the parking lot to text my wife. While I was texting, the owner approached my vehicle and asked what I was doing. When I explained my situation about my Father in Law, he said “ They didn’t camp here, and you would have known that if you checked in with the office first like the sign told you” then walked off. I understand that they didn’t camp there, but we have gone fishing there many times, and now I will go fish in a sewer before going back there. I don’t care how stressed you might be from all the COVID restrictions or anything, nothing gi
