North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks

I stayed during a blizzard, and the staff went out of their way to plow my car out of the parking lot! Clean rooms, clean bedding (checked with blacklight) decent price for a weekend. Great breakfast! Wide selection, and freshly made! My only complaint, and only reason for giving 4 stars is because they won't let you bring the breakfast to your room!

We stayed one night while visiting the park. Our room was very clean, bathroom and shower were new and clean, bed was comfortable with soft pillows, we did our laundry here, and everything was good. The hotel was busy, and our room was quiet. Lots of people stopped in to the hot tub. We opted for breakfast at Earl E Byrds, so can’t comment on the hotel breakfast. In this area you can be very happy with all the basic needs being met.

The rooms were very clean but the breakfast not so much! We were there a couple days & it was the same thing everyday. The sausage gravy was very thin,the sausage was the pre cooked kind & the scrambled egg were Nuc.Bagles were never fresh. If it was a one-night stay it would be perfect.

Outside of town a little ways but prices are much more reasonable. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but the breakfast room was of people just sitting around and not eating. Friends/relatives? We took our food back to our rooms (which is stated to be against the rules, but they said we could do it).

Clean looking and smelling room. Very nice staff. Didn’t have breakfast or use the hot tub (had a heart shaped tub in the room) but it looked really clean and nice. It is a bit outside of Munising - have to drive to town but such a cute town! Very much enjoyed the stay.
