North Side Marina & Resort

I took 5 teens and 2 small children (5 & 6 year olds). We were in the riverside retreat cabin which overlooks the marina/lake. The only place to swim is the marina between boat slips but the kids did not mind and the water was deep and cool. It's very hilly area with steep steps. It is a pleasant area. The kids had access to a game room with a pool table and foos ball tables and they enjoyed that. I understand it is a great fishing lake but we didn't really do that. The staff were great, especially Rusty. The issues I had were addressed and he was always pleasant. Wasp and spiders were an issue but we were in the woods. The shower in the cabin was pitiful but served its purpose. There was some mold in it but the cabin seemed pretty dated. I think people who go for the fishing and have a b

We have vacationed at northside several times over the years and we always enjoy ourselves the owner and his team are very nice, cabins are clean and it is quiet

Wife and I have been coming here off and on for years. Always I nice getaway for the weekend. Love the addition of the restaurant. Very accommodating with many options for cabins. We will be back again.

Rented a pontoon boat from this business for a whole day. The boat was very dirty and old. The engine would die every time you slowed down. One of the seats was broken off the pedestal and just placed back on top. Fell off as soon as I was under way. I decided half the day into the trip to take it back. The response I got was you can take it back out and tough it out, or pay for the half day you used it, plus fuel. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. I also recommend reading the yelp reviews on their other services... Wish I had done that before giving them money.

After two great years of stays this place remains at the top of my list for a get away. The cabins are clean and comfortable, the staff is fun and friendly, and the food and atmosphere is great! Highly recommended! Everything is as advertised. Can’t say enough good things! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
