North Ridge Guest House

Quiet and comfortable We stayed two nights and could sleep well because it was really quiet. We talked to the owner, she gave us a 1-hour DVD "Decoding the Driftless", and we viewed the documentary on the first night. The information was very helpful to explore and understand the area. We recommend the place and would like to come back. The host fee with "Evolve" is very high but this is not an issue with the friendly owner.

My husband and I stayed at this guesthouse in mid-October and it was such a lovely little retreat. The leaves were changing just beautifully. The guesthouse has everything you might need and is kept very clean. It is also very spacious, like your own mini-house. A big group would be great here but we were just two people on this trip and still it was great to have the space. Just a 10 or 15 minute drive to La Crosse so you can explore this beautiful and fun city, or a quick 10 minute drive to Great River Bluffs State Park, which has amazing bluffland views and pretty easy walking trails. Highly recommend! There is a mini-view of the Bluffs from the backyard but if you are looking for more of the scenery there are plenty of beautiful places to walk nearby.

This is a spacious 2 bedroom guesthouse which would accommodate at least 6 people. My friends and I were thrilled by the space to spread out--good sized living room & fully equipped kitchen & dining room. Clean & comfortable in a beautiful setting! Laurie & Jeff were gracious hosts. We will be back!

Loved staying here! The best place to be when exploring the area. Near orchards, wineries, downtown, everything! Laurie is a dear and amazing host, very kind and accommodating! Very clean and stocked with everything you need on vacation. Dog friendly too! Highly recommend staying here.

Great place to get away. We really enjoyed the guesthouse. Jeff and Laurie are very nice. ||The location is prefect. We travel around La Creseant and La Crosse. And if anyone is up there and interest in conoeing. three river outfitters is a great place to rent gear, very nice and helpful.
