North Country Lodge

Stopped here on my way across ND. All of the hotels in Jamestown were booked and found this little gem! I have lived in smaller apartments than this spacious place. Great deal for the price. Very clean, beds were pretty comfy and it was very easy to find. The owner was kind and replied to my questions quickly. She recommends a place in town to get some food, and ice cream. They didn’t have any flavors that my super picky daughter liked, and when I told her this, she went and got her some ice cream, and brought it over to us! Super sweet! Next time I go through and need a place, I will definitely be stopping back by!

Another great year at NCL. Sherry is super easy to deal with, flexible and fun too! Looking forward to going a few weeks later next year.

Couldn't find a room anywhere. Called at 11 pm to a cheerful voice. Yes, we have a room for you. We are still 2 hours away. No problem. Need a credit card to hold the room? No, I'll hold it for you. 2 hours later we pull in, there she is outside with the lights on and the door open! The room was old but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Full kitchen with coffee. Great hunting Lodge. We will return! 😊

A few weeks ago, we drove home from Kansas trying to make it back to Bismarck before the snow hit. We made it 10 1/2 hours. The snow was coming down so hard on I-94 that we had to pull over in Medina, North Dakota. It was about 11:30 PM. After realizing that we would not make it home, we called the North Country Lodge. A woman picked up the phone and said that she had availability. We found the room just as she said - A light on and an open door. We were able to sleep soundly in a warm room for the night. When we woke up, in the morning, we ventured out and found a small cafe in town open. Everyone in town was super friendly. The food was very good and the hospitality even better. After speaking with a gentleman who was in the cafe, we realized that he was the husband of the woman that w
