North Beach Motel

I had an unexpected trip to the ocean and spent many hours looking for a room. A friend was staying there at the time that I was going to the ocean. After speaking to them I took the chance and called this property. The staff was very friendly and caring about the guests and came to let me in my room. I would recommend this motel to friends and family as this is a great place to stay. I will be calling to make reservations for next year as this is a great place to stay. It was very quiet at night and the rooms are very clean and affordable. I would give this motel a 10 as I will be returning again next year. They don't answer the phone, they don't call you back, the room was ugly and dirty, the laundry facilities were "broken". Price was about $100 per night, no housekeeping service. Dumpster in front of room in parking lot and mattresses stacked in view outside of building. Do the owners give the least little care or concern about this dump? Doesn't seem like they do. Ugliest decor ever - Scotty dog Christmas sheets, psychedelic patchwork quilt, blue tye-dye curtains, all brown ocean landscape painting, broken lampshade,and lumpy ancient bed, broken windows that won't stay open, holes in window screens....

This place is like going to grandmas cabin, no rugs, old furniture, the stuff not used anymore in the house but still good. Its clean and safe. We are in the kitchen unit and if you hope to cook the appliances are here but bring your own silverware pots and pans. The owners are super nice but it is a mom and pop place, so you may have to call them to check in. Its not for every one, but we love it! The beach is close, casino a mile away, all the noise of ocean shores 4 miles away....and no one else has a surfing Sasquatch..

This is the best little place. The owners are wonderful and the prices is definitely affordable. We go up every year and each year it is a blast. Friendly people, clean environment, excellent service and a little all purpose grocery store right up the road. The beach is less than a mile just around the bend. Dogs are welcome as long as they are controlled. Ocean Shore is a short distance drive and has plenty of shopping and restaurants, large grocery store and tourist fun. This is the best beach motel around for the money. Paul is very accommodating, this is the way things used to be back in the day good people, good times, good life!! Highly recommend for your next beach vacay you won't be sorry.

Great place to stay, very polite staff and a nice family owned business. Very close to Ocean Shores, a 10-15 minute drive max, and cheaper than anything I've found there. Our room was clean and sticked with what we needed, so overall a positive experience.
