North Abutment Public Use Area

Beautiful and peaceful campground! The sites are well-kept, spacious, and surrounded by nature. The lake views are amazing, and it’s a great spot for relaxing or getting out on the water. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Definitely one of the nicer COE parks we’ve stayed at—can’t wait to come back!

One of the nicest campgrounds I have ever been in, and I have been in plenty. Clean and complete facilities, all in working order. Pads were concrete and level with tables, lantern holders, grills and fire rings. Reasonably priced.

This is a wonderful camping area. It is built on a Corps of Engineers lake and dam, and is very well set up. Campsites have lots of space between them, so they are very private. Very clean and well maintained. The camp host was very nice and stopped by to check on us after we got set up. Our site was literally beside the water, so our view was amazing. The campground was very quiet and very beautiful. We camped here in a 34' RV, and had no trouble fitting onto the paved pad. There were picnic tables and fire rings provided, and nice grassy areas for pets, etc.
