Norman's 44 Restaurant

We're passing through looking for a place to eat. We're driving a large U-Haul and towing a vehicle and this restaurant has a large area for parking. Great for big rigs for sure, but watch out for the potholes. We both got hamburgers. Much better than McD's. Tater tots were nice and crispy. Cajun fries were good. No Coke. Only Pepsi products. No freshly sliced lemon wedges with their iced tea. They offer lemon juice packets though. Based on our one visit, I would give this place 4.5 stars. It's not fancy, but it allowed us to easily park and get good food and service.

Found this little hidey hole after seeing Denny’s, 30 miles West, was closed. So glad we stopped. Quiet, out of the way family dining and the food was delicious! Onion rings were to die for! We will definitely be back!

We were really hungry and needed to eat before diamond hunting. Started looking on Google for places on the way and came upon Norman's. It's located at a truck stop and looked like the locals frequent. Our server was super, answered all my questions, and made sure mayo didn't get anywhere near the hubs 44 Burger. I got the country fried steak sandwich and holy moly.... it was huge and delicious... lots of mayo for me. The Cajun fries were crispy and seasoned well. I really wanted cake with peanut butter icing but had no room. Inside is your normal open dining seating. Every day, you can get 1 meat and 3 sides for $11.99. You can't beat that price. Good experience, and I would go again.

A lot of food for only $11.99 (today’s special). Fast and friendly service! A large dirt parking lot (great for oversized vehicles).

We went on October 18, 2025 at 1pm.The food was fantastic came out Fresh and Hot. Our waitress was not that great. We had Grayson came out and checked on up once close to the end of our meal, after our food was delivered. We had to get our own refills because our server did not come out. We had to ask the cook for a togo box. Other than the server, the restaurant was great!
