Absolutely nothing about this place is anything less than perfect. One of the best lodging experiences I've ever had and the attention to detail is immaculate, the host is beyond gracious, and every amenity is pure luxury. If I could give more than five stars I would. Already miss this place and can't wait to book another stay.

We had a wonderful winter long weekend stay at MetalLark. Super private, huge grounds to explore (even in the snow), thoughtful amenities, well-equipped kitchen. Perfect size for 2. If you are looking for a private, romantic getaway from the Twin Cities, this is a great option!

The stay here was absolutely astounding. If you don't want to leave bring food and make meals right in their kitchen (there is also an outdoor gas grill available) The property has many activities. We went kayaking, paddle boating, hiking and hiking (all of the above things are available on site to use). There is a sauna and fire burning hot tub which I highly recommend. This is a hidden gem and well worth the drive. It was so refreshing to just "disconnect" for awhile. I felt super at peace being there.

It was a wonderful time I would give you a 10. The only thing different would be to have more sizes available for the robes. Im 6ft 2 and 260lbs with a muscular build. The biggest robe I believe was either a large or xtra large, and it didn't fit. It was a beautiful place, quite beautiful and just amazing. My wife n I will most certainly be returning

This was a fantastic getaway. It’s perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet. There are plenty of nice local bars close by, but the cabin was so comfortable that we chose to spend most of our time there.
