Nixon Recreation Park

The splash pad itself is nice, however, there are apparently fraudulent neighbors nearby scoping the area. I used the pad for about 10 minutes to cool off and refresh myself; as I was heading to the local grocery store to get some ice for fruit smoothies for the night, I was "pulled over" on my electric scooter by a uniformed police asking if I was just at the splash pad, and if I had showered there. I said I was at the splash pad but I didn't shower there. I told them I had my own shower and I wouldn't shower there. They said they had received multiple complaints that I had just showered at the splash pad. I told them they they had been lied to. They told me to stay away from the area. I was there for a short period of time, while we waited for the rest of my family to arrive at Finch's Funeral Home for my Uncle Richard's funeral. It wasn't a happy time, but I wa relieved to see that some things stay the same.
