Well marked, maintained, and clean. Has a bear box, clearly marked bear bag hanging wire, picnic table, standing table, and lots of benches. Three fire rings seems overkill. No reliable water source nearby. Flat tent spots that aren’t close to water are limited. Some items left behind in the bear box that unfortunately seems to have been treated like a hiker box (trash bags, food, nail clippers, unused tampon, etc). Please pack out all your items!
Spacious primitive campsite. Has a creek nearby and is right on palmetto trail. Has a bear box, multiple benches, 3 fire pits and a table. Be careful with ticks, had 2 crawling on me in less than a mile of hiking! For what it is, 5 stars!
Top notch primitive campsite. 3 campfire spots, several benches, a place to hang a bear bag, a work table, and a little cache box for water and supplies. Very close to a bridge you can fish from.
