Nicholas RV Park

RV park, level lots and not too close to each other. I was here for work so a 5 min drive for me. New Orleans is less than 30 min away and there are many other places nearby for food and entertainment. My only complaint was the sketchy wifi...some days it worked beautifully and could get all my emails and do banking, other days couldn't even get a signal. Might have been because im on Verizon vs another network. All in all it was a good stay and the price was right, too. Only other issue is the entrance could be wider IMHO. especially when turning right into the park off of river road. Either the back tires were off the pavement and headed to the ditch or the front wheels skirted the edge of the pavement to swing in wide enough for the back tires to miss the ditch. First time staying and I was very pleased. I travel alone and not a real great parker..I let them know aboutv15 minutes before I got there and someone helped me back in. They have excellent wifi.. I had a concrete slab. Not all have a complet slab but you do have one for door. But he has put in several new sites since I have been here..and they have rock pads with concrete stepouts. Nice safe place. I did not use the laundry or shower since I have both in my camper. But my most important thing was feeling safe. And I felt very safe there. If I had any issue all I had to do was shoot a text and they answered me right away. I would definitely recommend staying here. I'll be back in January.

I brought my RV for 3 months here and the park is clean and well maintained! They keep up with the grass and keep it really clean for everyone. The noise level for me was minimal, never had issues with that. Also has a clean bathhouse, laundry mat just needs AC in there but everything works well. My pets were able to enjoy the area also. The owner communicates quick and is very accommodating! Thank you for everything!

I am 60 years old, and travel alone for work. Safety is what I look for first in a campground, then cleanliness and so on. I felt very safe in this camp ground, the grounds are maintained and they have put in new camp sites. I was lucky and got a complete slave my camper could sit on. Not all sites have this, but they do all have a cement step out. The new sites are rock pads with cement walk outs. Wifi is awesome. No issues with electrical or water. If I did have an issue I just text and they immediately answered. I didn't use the laundry or shower houses and I never checked them out. But I will be coming back in January. This will be my place to stay from now on when working in this area.

It was a wonderfully peaceful stay. Very clean park. I was there for 6 months. Very clean restroom and the laundry was awesome. Even had snacks in the Laundry room. Nick was always so helpful. I would stay there again.
