Newfound Lake Inn

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Newfound Lake Inn. I stayed during the holiday season and the Inn was very nicely decorated. My room was very comfortable and had a nice modern lake vibe with great views of the lake across the street. The entire staff is great - very friendly and attentive. The restaurant within the Inn has great food, drink, and service, as well. I had a great stay and hope to go back soon!

I just spent the weekend there for my sister’s wedding. I was the Maid of Honor and cannot overstate how kind, helpful, and generally invested the staff was in this event going well. The wedding went off without a hitch and was one of the best weddings I have ever been to. Their coordinator, Janine, was incredible! She was everywhere she needed to be and a step ahead of everything to make sure everyone in the wedding party and the guests were where they were supposed to be at all times. The venue itself was beautiful and felt magical all decorated for the wedding and the food was incredible. I almost never post reviews but I was so blown away by this wedding that I wanted people to see. Newfound Lake Inn is a true hidden gem, don’t miss out on it!

I really wanted to fall in love with this Inn, as I was in love with the Lake it sits on since before we visited... Maybe if we had stayed in the more expensive Inn itself, I would have. We stayed in The Carriage House, which is a little worn and needs some sprucing up. Our room, #5, had a view of the Lake, but was very tight for two people; it also featured a tiny shower. Housekeeping did not visit our room once while we were there, and while the room was passably clean, I found a beer cap under our beach towels on a shelf. Staff at the front desk were somewhat helpful when it came to food and getting around, but did not really have suggestions for hiking or water activities. Decided to bring my family for an outing, stumbled upon what i though was the perfect place. Got out of out car and was tsken away by the views, unfortunately that was that last good encounter we had that evening. We got some early dinner and settled down in our room. I wake up to my child crying that shes itchy. Check the bed and i see100s and 100s of bed bugs in all different stages. We had to throw away everything. Not to mention the food poisoning my wife got the next morning from the food she ate for dinner. Dont bring your fanily is all im gonna say

Ate there last night at the beautiful bar with friends. They weren't that busy at first so we all had a drink before ordering. I ask the waiter about the swordfish an was it fresh she assured me it was. Well it wasn't, I was unable to get her attention and was very hungry asked several times for rolls Nothing so I ate some. When she finally came to us and asked why I didn't eat much of my meal I explained it wasn't fresh and was bad. She replied thank you for the input good or bad and left. Nothing was good and I was not told the truth about several things that night. One of my friends had steak and he liked it so that's way 2 stars instead one 1. Another had lobster roll and he said it was not very fresh or good. The worst part is all the bartender had to do is check to see if the fish
