Newbury Inn Hotel

The room was decent size the bed was comfy but the staff and manager are on two different pages. I checked in with no deposit then the front desk calls me to say they need a 100 dollar deposit and deactivated my room key before I could go to the room. The shower had the worst pressure ever. Even though the room was clean there was clearly maintenence that needed done. Then upon check out they charged us 20 dollars for incidentals for a "pizza" stain on the sheet. And the manager was rude. Claiming the stain would not come out. Obviously if this is the case they need a better cleaning service. The whole situation was ridiculous. I have paid less for rooms with more amenities. Such as a microwave and mini fridge are pretty standard in most rooms. They had neither. Even in cheaper motels whe

The place is a little old. Front desk service was okay. Be prepared to give a credit card and a $100 deposit. The room was ice cold it took about 3 hours to warm up. We had a room with a jetted tub it was dirty, we had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. We didn't stay for breakfast because they didn't offer much. This place is good for one night only I would not recommend this place for longer.

The inn is rather small. You can notice that it has not been renovated in a long time. It is well kept though. I didn't have any problems with my stay. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The free WiFi worked flawless. The breakfast they serve is a little cheap. They didn't orange juice and you have to ask for milk and cream cheese. Not really a big deal. The staff is very friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Based on a week stay, and week long stays do not get complimentary breakfast. To begin the queen sized beds have full size sheets on them, called the office and was told sheets the same size everywhere. No towels, just a mat and one wash cloth. The heat in the room is either on or off, thermostat broken. Told maintenance would be here tomorrow, did not come. When they cleaned the room we were told heat same everywhere. When they came to clean the room. I felt more like a criminal search was being done. They were not going to change sheets until we requested as I thought isn't that part of weekly cleaning? Then tried to tell me we stained the sheets, luckily we read a previous review and took a picture and called the office upon check-in. Tried to charge $15 for the sheet

They were our saving grace! My husband & I had been driving all day stuck in traffic trying to get through New Jersey & New York. Needless to say it was very stressful & we drove till 11pm until we found this hotel. When we got there, the front door had a sign on it saying, "Closed from 10pm-7am." However, there was a phone sitting at a table just outside the door which said, "Call for assistance." When we called the extension, a man immediately answered & said he would be right down to help us. I was shocked that they woke up to accommodate us at such a late hour & with such willing attitudes. We were able to get a great night's sleep. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, there were plenty of towels, & a nice shower. It was everything we needed. There was also a nice light break
