New River State Park, Wagoner Access Rd.

This state Park is awesome. If you're a water or especially a river lover, you need to paddle this section of the New River. Nice Campground and friendly, helpful staff. Hats off to all!

Loved this park. Very easy access to the loop trail. The trails were decent in the snow, though there were a few times we slipped and almost fell. That said, still beautiful with the snow.

Great hiking trails, well marked, easy to strenuous.

The park is convenient to get to, and the camping spaces are short walk from the parking lot. The Wagner entrance has hand carts to carry your gear to your site. The bathrooms were very clean and convenient, with hot running water. Very easy camping experience, operated by some very pleasant professional people. Definitely a place to go to again and again.

This is where we parked for paddle in camping at Riverbend. Has bathrooms, a water filling station, trash cans and a park ranger office for reservations or information! Had a blast! Will return!
