New Orleans KOA Holiday

This is a great KOA location for camping out in tent, RV, or hut. Has an on site playground and pool as well. We rented the camp site and it was a great experience. They have water, Wi-Fi, bathroom, laundry room and showers. (One shower is handicap access as well as some bathroom access. Also a ramp to go up the laundry room but it is a bit tight.) There is also a gift shop and bus service to and from Mardi Gras. The owner / operator Mike is very impressionable and a great help as well. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here while building our home nearby. This allowed us a unique experience as most people are only in for a couple of nights here and there. Because we stayed here long-term, we really got to see the exceptional staff in so many more ways than someone staying for a few nights would see. The staff at this KOA are beyond exceptional. Every single one of them genuinely cares about every guest and their experience. The owners, Mike and Deborah, are just phenomenal. Two really great people who have a passion for what they do. I truly believe that it is their goal to make sure every person who stays here has a unique special experience, and they do just that. We stayed in a deluxe cabin for a couple of nights for a comic con. The cabin was set in the shade of live oaks with privacy fence around a beautiful patio area. The cabin, campground, and laundry facility were perfectly clean and very well maintained. The pool area and playground looked great. Staff was friendly. It was nice that they have nighttime security. Camp store had lots of cool souvenir options. Short drive to the downtown convention center. Highly recommend if you want to stay in a nice clean area outside of downtown.

Rented a cabin for a week! Had an amazing time. The store us fully of some amazing stuff. Took the van into town and they had a list of attractions and coupons. Everyone was so amazing. I'm planning on coming again.
