New Hochatown Lodge

I’m not very picky with motel rooms.. But our room was nasty, black mold on the walls. Water damage and holes in the walls. Broken Blinds, and lots of road noise. For the price they are asking on these rooms it’s a rip off. If I had my young kids on this trip we would have left. Beds were ok, clean sheets. Shower was clean and functional. Don’t stay here if you care for your health.

The pictures you see are NOT what you get. Here's what you DO get: ROACHES, BLACK MOLD, NAILS STICKING OUT, STAINS ON BEDDING & TOWELS, HORRIBLE SMELL TO THE ROOM, DRIPS OF SOME GROSS SUBSTANCE IN THE BATHROOM.....and all for just $140 for 1 night. If you want a truly scary experience, this is the place! But, If you care anything at all for your health & safety avoid this place!! I took pictures of everything in case they tried to avoid issuing a refund. I started getting a bad sore throat after a total of 30 minutes of being in the room and thats when we found the black mold in the a/c vent. We arrived at 9:50pm as front desk was closing at 10pm. Lady was pleasant however was rushing to check us in. Failed to return my driver license on her scanner. Had to wait until morning to retrieve it. CONS: No second key available for the room. The lights on the outside porch area were not on and it was very dark. Felt unsafe not being from the area No tissues. No blow dryer, iron or ironing board which they advertise as amenities. Barhrooms are very small and there werent any toiletries except a small bar of hand soap. Other guests on porch smoking weed which we could smell even with door closed. No curtain just blinds. You could slightly see into the rooms even with them closed as tight as we could crank them. Wouldn't be so bad if they would have housekeeping inventory the rooms to be

Lexie was incredibly helpful and kind! We arrived around 11:30 PM and had trouble finding the hotel. Lexie stayed on the phone with us, patiently guiding us to the correct location and making sure we arrived safely. Her calm and professional support turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience. Once we got there, she ensured everything was ready for check-in, even retrieving the key from the locker for us. Lexie truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. On top of that, she’s a wonderful mom to a 5-week-old baby—yet still managed to provide outstanding service late at night. We’re very grateful and highly recommend her!

We were running late and called many times to inform the lodge but no answer. When we arrived no one was at office but left after hours number which no one answered . We had to go on to Broken Bow to get a room. I would never book a room here nor recommend it to anyone!!! I give it a big👎
