Neptune Hollywood Beach Hotel

Customer Service: check in was quick..Guest Services were informational, hospitable and personable. Very much appreciate the warm, kind attitude as it made me feel right at home and comfortable!! ||Hotel: perfect location just steps from the beach, restaurants, shopping. Lawn chairs right on the front patio to sit and relax, tan, people watch, take in the Grand Rising "sun" in early morning. Live music options very close by to the right or the left. ||Room: We were able to grocery shop before hand as their is a kitchenette right in the room. Large fridge, stove etc. Large walk in closet for clothing and nice view of the Ocean. Shower is large, sleeper sofa and bed were very soft and comfortable. ||Cleaners: Our room was cleaned each day we were there. New supplies, Bed sheets and Comfor

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Upon check-in, we were informed that we had to pay $800 in fees after providing a receipt showing that we had paid for everything. They also charge you a $50 fee per day to take care of your rooms and never once did anyone come into the hotel room. You have to walk a block to get towels. They never removed any trash or swept the floors so they’re full of sand. The bathrooms are so small your knees hit the wall when you sit on the toilet. The air conditioner is set to 70 and it’s been a consistent 76 to 78° in the room. There has been no hot water whatsoever the whole time that we’ve been here in fact, the beach is warmer. I also ended up covered in a rash from my neck down to my stomach because I’m allergic to the detergent in the sheets. T

30 minutes waiting in line at 4pm to check in. Assigned wrong room, another 35 minutes waiting in line to get correct room. Next morning staff opened door to room without knocking while we were in bed, not knowing we were in that room. Then opened it again 1 minute later without knocking. 2 days later room key didn't work. 15 minutes in line to activate key. Room is ok. Bed is average. Shower pressure is ok. No plates or utensils in the cupboards. There is no pool at this location. They have multiple motel buildings and guests can use the pool at one of those partner buildings. Chairs out front overlooking beach and broadwalk is the only saving grace.

Right on the boardwalk and beach! Rooms could use quite a bit of TLC. Ours didn’t have a proper light (had to rely on the bathroom and hallway lights). Oddly had a toaster and coffee maker but no coffee or filters. TV very outdated and basically didn’t work. Bed was fine. Free WiFi and continental breakfast (just don’t show up too late as they run out of items and the line can get long). They can hold your luggage and provide kitchen boxes (dishes, mugs, pans, utensils). It’s part of Hollywood Beach Hotels conglomerate, which gives access to several pools of different temperatures.
