Awesome, awesome place. Huge reservoir w around 20 camping spots. Easy access, right on the water AND free. Wonderful place to "air" your dogs and let them swim forever.

We were there for our 1st time camping. It's a beautiful lake nestled in Grasslands with prairie dogs. There's no potable water, electricity or dump station. There are shelter houses with picnic tables and many sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Camping is free. All this was expected. The unexpected part was the number of people clearly residing there. Additionally, there were sites where people left their equipment (boats, RVs) but weren't staying there, taking up sites.

Beautiful spot to camp right on the beach of the reservoir. Plenty of clean vault toilet houses to use. Pavilions with picnic benches, at least 2 to each site. Fire ring came with already cut wood! It was so relaxing to sit by the fire over the water. In the morning all the little coots we’re feeding in the water. I’d love to return again on my way through. We stayed one night in late September, no bugs.

Very hot had a huge wind storm that left lots of debris in the campgrounds fishing was good the water is the only place to get rid of the bugs mainly the mosquitoes they will literally carry you away but all in all was a fantastic trip
