Nice long ride up the mountain
Needles is the main gondola for Snowbasin resort. It provides access to most of the resort, including terrain from beginner to expert level. You can access almost all of the other lifts in the resort from the top of Needles. The only down side is that because it’s the main lift that carries the most passengers, it has the longest lines of the resort on busy days. On cold and windy days it’s nice to have the enclosed gondola cars.
We enjoyed the ride up to the lodge. Also worth a visit in summer.
Real easy gondola. Just watch your step getting off. 5/5 Would ride again
Took the gondola during the summer to go hiking. A great way to get to the top so climbing the peaks was easier.
