Navy Gateway Inn Bremerton

Okay, my review is a long one but hopefully you find some part of it helpful Parking 🚗: This base desperately needs more parking. Like, everywhere. The lot infront of building is shared with the restaurant next door and the barracks across the way. There is overflow parking but only a couple of extra rows (back of building) NOTE: there are stairs from the overflow and no ramp (if a ramp is needed, you just have to go around rather than through up the stairs). If you need to bring in luggage you can park in the back and use a luggage cart to unload then move your car. This is easily my biggest gripe about the location, and it's not even really the Inn's fault! The room 🛏: The room is fine. It's essentially a barracks room No AC, but it's autumn right now. Great place to stay on base. The rooms are clean and everything works. The staff here are exceptional! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We needed alot of help and guidance during our stay and they were always happy to help. Great place to stay. Some rooms have a view of the ship yard and bay.

We had a great time. All the staff are nice and helpful. This is an old hotel but clean and there is laundry on each floor. It stays cool so there is no A/C but they have fans you can put by the window for air circulation. The location is close to the ferry to go across to Seattle. My only complaint is that the door key system wasn't working but that was a technical issue out of everyone's hands.

Awesome place to stay and close to everything one would need. The staff is awesome. The room furniture is somewhat dated, but I loved it. The rooms are clean and very spacious. This was my second stay there and will stay again.

I'd give this place no stars if it were possible. I booked my room about a month ago and everything was good to go until I get an email last night saying they cancelled my reservation. I called today to see why and the oy explanation they gave me is that they over booked. They gave me a CNA, but what good is a CNA if I can find a place to stay? They gave me less than a day and a half to find a place to live while TDY out there. This is bad business at its finest.
