Nauvoo River Lodge

We recently visited Nauvoo River lodge, our group had 32 people and we had a really great time! The house is very large and there are over 50 beds to choose from! Most of the beds are 3 tier bunkbeds, but there are also 2 full size beds also, they're comfortable but the top bunk on the bunkbeds is a bit high. Each bed comes with bedding which is nice, the comforter is nice and soft. There are at least 6 bathrooms in the house and several sinks & showers. In the large kitchen area there are 3 large tables that 8 people can sit at comfortably. I love how everything was labeled in the kitchen, that made it much easier to cook!! We noticed the grass was quite long so we didn't used the grounds much outside. In order to get to the fire pit, you have to walk across the highway. It wasn't really

Great place to stay! The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic view of the Mississippi River! There is a docking area with sand and a fireplace, and the lodge also has kayaks and canoes you can use as part of your stay. Lots of beds and space for large groups. Will definitely be staying here again!

My family of 30 stayed here the last week of July 2024 for a family reunion. The house and amenities far exceeded our expectations. There were ample sheets, blankets and towels. The kitchen is extremely organized and well supplied. The grandkids loved the downstairs and all the toys and pool table, etc. It rained most of the days we were there and so we did not use the waterfront. (But just a heads up…the water is down the driveway and across the road, and is a small area.) We all loved how spacious the house was and the ample parking as well as all the washers and dryers!!! Our needs were definitely met and responses were always quick. Thanks!!!

What a wonderful weekend at Nauvoo River Lodge!! The house is huge and was so accommodating to our big group. Everything was so clean and well maintained. It’s a quick walk down the River where we spent the day kayaking and skipping rocks. There’s plenty of gathering spaces throughout to hang out and play games. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a fun getaway or reunion house!

It was really fun to be able to stay here. It is about midway between historic Nauvoo and the grocery stores in Keokuk, Iowa. There are a ton of beds in here, so you could easily house a large family group here. The best thing about the place has honestly got to be the location, though. The property has a fire pit at the riverside, and we really enjoyed watching the sun set over the Mississippi River. I totally would stay here again.
