National Trail Motel

This little motel is absolutely perfect! Super retro cuteness for my Motorrad tour stop. The rooms are spotless as most have already said. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this motel is. Bonus, a minute walk up the street is Mountain Pies for a tasty pizza and slice of apple pie!

We stayed one night so that we could enjoy the Yough lake for two beautiful sunny days without driving hone. The room was very clean, no musty motel odor, nicely furnished and the family lives on site. Mini fridge. Close to the lake and other area attractions. Inexpensive. Beautiful pool in front but we didn't use. We will be back.

Wow amazing family that runs this motel. We got stranded with our truck. The transmission blew and the wonderful woman that operates this place left us the key after hours and let us square up in the morning. It’s pretty frightening to be stranded on the mountain in the pitch black and we are so grateful that this place exists. The bed was super comfy and I really enjoyed the retro cottage vibe inside. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a room in the area. Very warm and cozy. Also shout out to bob at the gas station. He’s a real helpful gentleman helping us sort out the truck issue. God bless small town America!

Passed this little motel by as we thought it looked a little run down but then couldn't find anywhere else to stay. So we turned around and checked in to this little place. What a nice surprise! The manager/owner was super friendly and our room was very nice. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. The water pressure in the shower was great and there was a fridge and a microwave in the room. The only downside was an automatic room freshener that emitted a very strong smell every 15 minutes or so but we put it in the bathroom and shut the door so it wasn't a problem anymore. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again!

Last minute decision to stay overnight in the Farmington area, and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated this little local Motel was. You can tell the rooms have been recently remodeled. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable (but I would bring my own pillow since theirs were very "mushy") and the bathroom was quite roomy and plenty of towels/washcloths were provided. The pool outside is no bigger than a hot tub, but we were not planning to swim anyways. The rooms at the back of the motel were very quiet and we got a good nights sleep. Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate for a one-night stay!
