Nakoma Resort

It’s a hidden gem! Everything about the place was s exquisite and exemplary! The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and thoughtful! I will highly recommend this place either for a golfing holiday or just a quiet getaway. If you’re an outdoor person this place has lots to offer with 13 hiking trails! A must visit!!

Nakoma is a lovely, beautiful resort. It's good to know before you book the 2-bedroom villas that these are similar to time-shares. They are owned by people and used for large portions of the year but allow the resort to rent them out during unused dates. This may mean not all villas are the same. ||The one we had unit #311. It was nice but no information was left in the room for such things as TV instructions, how to use the heated spa, and who to call if something is broken. ||No telephones were in our villa so we had to use our cells - no problem, but we wanted to call the front desk - had to use the internet to look up that number. ||Most of the things were irritants considering what we paid for the stay. |1) An after-hours emergency number was listed in a small frame outside

Great spot! First time coming here and won’t be the last! Super clean resort, very friendly staff, gorgeous views. Nice and quiet place to relax. It’s cool as there is golf, activity center all within walking distance. Be prepared if you come to relax don’t expect a full town or anything.

Nakoma Resort is a gem of a property and is located in the Lost Sierras. Highly recommend. Things that jumped out for us during our first visit, the Service from the staff was amazing! A+. The friendly residents welcomed us as visitors, and the golf course was spectacular, and the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed clubhouse was like walking into History. ||Highly recommend this amazing place.

We had an absolute blast at Nakoma Resort! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every time. Dining here was truly a treat.||The villas were cozy, spacious, and incredibly relaxing—the perfect retreat after a long day on the course. Speaking of which, the golf course is absolutely stunning. It’s challenging, yes, but that’s what made it so enjoyable. Each round felt like a rewarding learning experience, and the beauty of the course made every moment even better.||We had a small hiccup where we left a sweater behind in our room upon checkout, but the front desk staff took care of it right away—retrieved and returned without issue.
