Nahma Resort Campground

We wanted to camp in the area for the weekend of Labor Day. We called and called with no answer. After a couple weeks of trying different days and times, my husband left messages a week apart. Then I left one. We just had a couple questions. I got a call back within 15 minutes, but apparently by accident as I could hear them talking in the background, but waited 2 minutes and got no response to my “hellos.” Finally, later in the day, we each got a call back, but no answers when we repeatedly tried to call after that. It’s a shame, because the sites are situated in a beautiful area. But unfortunately, we are booked somewhere else now. All it would have taken was a simple 5 minute phone call. Or less.

I absolutely loved my stay at the No Nah Ma Resort. For the price, it's worth every dollar. I rented a cabin. It was spacious and clean. I loved the back area that was next to an inlet off the lake. It had a fire pit there that I used every night. ||This resort is not upscale. No cable (but great wifi and 50 inch smart TV), no A/C (doesnt need it because the nights are cool). It's exactly what one needs to get away. It is also located next to the boat launch and a restaurant/bar.||Paula is very nice and does a great job with the place! I will be be coming back here again.||Tom Jenrette

DO NOT STAY HERE! SCAM. The place is a completely run down, abandoned grass lot that is covered in goose feces. They do not offer refunds and nobody at office to talk to.

We have been coming to the No-Nahma Resort now for 5 years. The place gets better and better every year. This year, with the opening of their "Eagle's Nest Golf Course" the kids were able to rent golf carts for leisure which was really nice and the rates were respectable at $30 a day with unlimited gas. They recently opened their new game room which was nice for the kids, but it needs a little work which I am sure will get done whithin the next year or so. The manager and owner are very nice and treat you like family. The owner lives on the premisis, so if you need anything they are happy to help. The campground is nice and spacious and quite beautiful, plus there is fishing which is fun for the kids. I must say, it's a must stay in the U.P!

The woman in the phone was very nice. The place is VERY run down. The is scrap metal everywhere. The pit toilets didn’t have any toilet paper though didn’t smell bad. The door locked but the hinge is broken so you can pull the door right open. |There were quiet hours but no one to enforce them so the ground in the cabin across the way was loud until after 12. |The tent camping sites did have nice grass.
