Nacoochee Valley Lodge

We love the Nacoochee Valley Lodge. I was here for a dog trial, and the rooms were the best. The area where you can walk your dog is great. The Owners Cindy and Dough, the best. when talking to them, I felt like I had known them for a long time. They will go out of their way to help you. The rooms, are so clean, grounds etc. The Dugout restaurant there is also very good, especially after a long day. We are hoping to get back soon, Best Place I have Ever Stayed. Thank you for sharing your special place.

We had a great stay at Nacoochee Valley Motel! It was a nice four-day getaway for the family. The hosts, Cindy and Doug, were welcoming and offered great check-in communication. The room was just like a cabin in the woods. Our favorite parts of the lodge were our beautifully decorated room, the fire pit, and the Dugout Pub. We highly recommend the Nacoochee Motel (lodge) and hope to return soon.

I cannot recommend this lodge enough! We stayed here for a recent vacation after the winter storm at the end of January (26-28), and it was the highlight of our trip. Impeccably clean, cozy, and featured everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Location was quiet and picturesque exactly the 'reset' we were looking for. The Host Cindy is a gem. She was incredibly responsive, welcoming, and provided those small, thoughtful touches that you just don't get at a hotel. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Her hospitality is unmatched, and she provided fantastic local tips that made our vacation truly special. We rented the entire lodge last weekend for out of town family and friends to stay in after a graduation party. The lodge is immaculate and the owners went above and beyond to add special touches to make all of the guests feel at home. Everyone’s room was clean and comfortable and they will definitely come back for a visit and stay here again. The lodge is located right next door to the Dugout Sports Bar and Grill for some great food and drinks and is also close enough to visit Helen . Highly recommended staying here any time of year !

Hidden Gem Near Helen, GA! I took a chance booking the Nacoochee Valley Lodge, and I’m glad I did — this place is a total win. The room was spotless, the entire property was well-kept, and the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed Nov 15th and Nov 16 2025. For the price, the value is absolutely insane. It’s rare to find a place this clean, this comfortable, and this well-run without paying a premium. What started as a gamble we found online ended up being one of the best surprises of our trip. If you’re staying anywhere near Helen, GA, I highly recommend this lodge. We’ll definitely be back!
