Mussers' Historic Country Suites

What a great place! Simply put, it was comfortable. Felt like being at home. And the hosts were extremely friendly without being intrusive. The rooms are very nicely maintained and have a good old-timey feel to them. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay!

Clean, big enough for 5 of us (could of comfortably slept 1 or 2 more) location was convenient to Sight and Sound, as well as dining and the Strasburg railroad. The owner was hands on enough that you felt taken care of but hands off enough that you had your privacy. The historic charm of this place was great and we've already recommended to friends. Easy check in and out and filled with Norwex items (if you know you know) the front porch was a cute space to sit and watch the horse and buggies drive by amd juat relax. The Husband and I venture out to the beautiful area of Lancaster for a nice, relaxing trip, as often as possible and Musser's Historic Country Suites delivered just that. The owner, Barb, is absolutely wonderful and immediately greeted us with a huge smile. She did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable and indeed fantastic, (including inviting us into her home and introducing us to her sweet and extremely intelligent dog, Dosey and her adorable puppies). ||||Upon entering the Old Post Office Suite (via your own private entrance), you felt like you were swept back in time. The small private bathroom has a stand-up shower and down 2 stone steps sits a beautiful, full- size bed with a large closet area. I’ll first start out by saying that Barb is a wonder host along with her husband. She is truly a genuine and caring person. Upon arrival she took time to show us around and let us know where things were. Her products are all organic as environmental friendly and smell great! The detail put into restoring the property is quite amazing and beautiful. The loft has a king size bed that is so comfortable. There are many nooks and crannies which make it so unique. Every morning we walked around in the backyard. The trees, sunflowers and birds chirping were so serene and peaceful. We sat on the front porch drinking our morning coffee, going down memory lane while watching the buggies go by and wave at us. We keep coming back to this warm and charming place for so many reasons. The suites are large and comfortable with fully equipped kitchens. Everything is scrupulously clean and tidy. We sleep like babies in this peaceful setting! Barb Musser is so warm and gracious and we feel like old friends. The ample parking and a lovely garden are also appreciated. We can't speak highly enough about this wonderful refuge!
