Murtaugh park and campground

A beautiful place to stay, our campsite area was not cleaned from previous campers, socks and trash were left as well as broken tree branches piled in the fire pit and a part of the grass burned were a fire was outside the pit. We did call and let them know about these issues. Also site 21 is not recommend, there are large underground covered things and is a waste of camp space. Even so, we loved the quiet and tranquility of the site.

Love this place so beautiful and relaxing. Not many people now that it is off season. Lot is so close to the water just go out and put my pole in the water. Very quiet .

It's a beautiful place to bring your camper, we stayed at the the cove side, Novacek area. If you plan on tent camping be aware that they run sprinklers Mon-Thurs night. The camp host can't turn them off. The tent area under the big trees as shown on my videos, have sprinklers that come on from 1am to 3am. They do section by section so the last sprinkler will be done by 3am. Be prepared. Look for the sprinkler heads and set up tents in between but prepare for it. They are loud so if you are a light sleeper camp on the weekends lol. Other than that it's not a pretty bad place.

The park is ok. Pit toilets only though, but it is nice and quiet in a natural setting by the lake. Lots of birds including ducks and a Great Horned Owl hunting in the campground. It's not a destination but made a good overnight stop while traveling through Idaho in our RV.

This place is beautiful, it's well kept and the camp host is friendly with great hospitality. Our kids loved the playground and my husband loved the fishing, tons of species here. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked with tp. The price is unbeatable for what they offer. I definitely recommend it!
