Munds Park RV Resort

Very nice rv resort right off the highway and close to Flagstaff. They also have little shops and a restaurant right outside the park, which is nice and very accommodating. The park is very large - separated by the old section (which primarily consists of permanent structure homes) and the new section (which is an RV field mixed with some tiny homes under construction). ||Overall, the place was nice. Biggest complaint is the new section makes you feel like you're in a parking lot. It's all gravel. No grass. No trees. The surrounding scenery is nice, but the feeling of seeing endless gravel was disappointing.

The park itself is beautiful and well-kept, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We made our reservation months in advance, and unfortunately, it’s now forecasted to rain the entire time. Who wants to camp in the rain? I reached out to see if we could move our reservation, but since it’s the end of the season, they only offered two alternative weekends—neither of which we can make. Apparently, that means we’re just out of luck and they’ll keep the money. There’s really no common sense in that. It would make far more sense (and be much more customer-friendly) to allow a reschedule for next season. Policies like this are how you lose loyal, returning customers—especially those who had planned to come back every year.

If I had found this place during my partying days, it would have been my GO TO. We were in site 7 and while they tout it as a pull thru, and other reviewers say the sites are spacious, they are not, at least not where we were. There are a lot of amenities, but we only stayed overnight so didn't use any. Great coffee shop right near it and there was a farmers market right next to the park as well. This is NOT a place to kick back and relax with very little interaction with others. If you are a social person who likes A LOT of things to do, this is your place.

Great park near lots of fun off road riding trails. Check in was easy, the pads are gravel with no grass but that’s ok. Large pads are 60x30 so plenty of space for the toys. We will definitely be back

This is a large (<500 sites) resort in a very small town in close proximity to the highway. The sites are mostly level, gravel off gravel access roads with convenient hookups that functioned properly. Most of the folks that occupy the park either live in park models or in their RVs that they park for the season. Some folks live there for the summer, but most visit for short vacations and/ or weekends. There are planned activities during peak season, but things were winding down the end of September. No cable tv, some OTA stations, many of the transient sites are heavily treed so not much chance for satellite, Verizon cell service is good - their included WiFi was mostly okay, but did not always provide a signal that was useful.
