Mt. St. Helens RV Park

WARNING TO EVERYONE - STAY AWAY - This place is unsafe and disgusting. No wifi, no cable TV, no community kitchen area, no access to a game room/club house.This room area was their personal storage with tires. Total disrepair everywhere. False advertising to the max. Their pictures do not match reality. Very expensive for what you get. Our RV spot was very unlevel and not usable. Dirt and rust in the one water faucet by the road. Dog feces piles all over the end of our RV spot, in which I did tell the campgound host about. They live on the premises. The only RV campground I have ever seen that has a sign posted, Not responsible for injuries or if you get bitten. Really!?!

Owners are friendly enough—they're right there on the property—but everything else feels like it's been slowly rotting since the sale three or four years back. The entrance light's been dead forever, so good luck pulling in after dark without scraping your bumper. Driveway's a minefield of potholes; secure your stuff or watch it bounce out. Bathrooms? Straight-up gross—haven't seen paint since the eighties, and I'd get a tetanus shot before stepping in. Rec room's now just a junkyard for the boss's crap. Laundry's ancient and filthy; your clothes might come out worse than they went in. Dog park's basically a weed jungle—good luck finding your pup. Lots are almost gravel-less and sloppy after rain; mud everywhere. Only real win? It's dead quiet. If you want peace and don't mind living like

We were warmly greeted and checked in by two nice people. That’s why we gave them a 3. We have been to lots of Good Sam parks but this was the most run down. Our site was just gravel with an ancient splintery picnic table. Didn’t expect to have no sewer hookups. Bathrooms were dirty. Trash all around in the play area. Lots of obviously permanent residents.

They have recently changed ownership and are no longer part of Koa Amenities that are available 1. Kids park : have slide, swing and couple of other climbing structures 2. Laundry 3. Bathrooms : very clean and well kept 4. Each Rv lot can park additional two cars We had a good time here camping for 3 nights. Only few spots at the hilltop have views but the rest of lots have no views. My St. Helens visitor center is about 30-35min drive

No sewer, no wifi, no cable, shower floors questionable, office is not manned after 3pm, laundry open only 8am-8pm. Need quarters? take a drive. RV dump station is available, but only smaller rigs will fit. Sites are loose gravel not compacted, so we needed low-4 wheel drive to get out. Sketchy feeling about security. CCTV cameras in vacated office, showers, and laundry room. Laundry room & shower facilities look like third-world Natl Geographic scenes. Going to pass this one next year.
