Mt. Jefferson Ski Resort

We had a fantastic trip to Mt. Jefferson Ski Area this weekend. The entire family got lift tickets and rentals, and our kids had lessons all for a bargain basement price. Everyone from the owner, to the rental guy, ski instructor to the lifties were amazing…so nice and accommodating to our family of 4. The mountain has something for everyone from the ‘Granny’ green trail to the black diamond runs and even a tubing hill. Learning to ride a t-bar was new to us all, but the lifties were so nice to give us pointers on getting on and the tricky dismount. This is truly a gem; what a local ski hill used to be. The base lodge has warm food, and cold drinks, and a kid favorite bubble hockey. Everyone should give this place a try. It is well worth the trip.

First time skiing Mt Jefferson today for my brother and I and we had an absolute blast. Good price for a pass and had super friendly staff. It has one T bar up to the top and the guy running it was awesome. Was our first time on one and he showed us the ropes and gave us nothing but encouragement and was always asking if we had music requests. Will definitely be back multiple times next year. So much fun for my daughter and her friend, age 15. They both enjoyed tubing and even tried skiing for the first time!! The staff is very helpful and friendly!! We would recommend and we’ll be back !! Thank you Mr. Jefferson Ski area. We are grateful to have this option for outdoor activities in the area!

Fun place with a nice trail network all accessible from the T-bar. Staff were friendly, from tickets to lifties.

Poor community support, ticket prices and rentals along with tubing is unnecessarily expensive especially compared to other mountains which are preferred. Such as Hermon mountain which I find is a much friendlier environment with much more snow and a better environment! I wouldn’t return to this mountain, so sad I wasted a day trying somewhere new!
