Mountain View Motel

It's a husband and wife Korean duet, running this motel and little store. The rooms are seedy, but the cheapest price around @ $60/night. Honestly, when I went and asked for a washcloth, soap and shampoo, the husband told me I was making trouble. It was like a SNL skit. I was taken aback, to say the least. I then tried to purchase a soap and he threw it to the floor on his side of the counter and told me, "You make trouble. You go!" There was something so wrong about this place and that man, that I went back to my room, grabbed my bag and quietly left. It was worth $60 not to have to concern myself what other craziness was to come. YIKES! I gave it one star because it was not the Bates

I haven't stayed here but I talked to the owner Matt who told me he will rent to me by the week for $188. That the rooms have a microwave and small fridge to let him know a day or to in advance so he can let Jody know he promised me this price. My fiance said he lived there and the price was $235 per week. That the cable didn't work nor did the WiFi. I'm calling Matt the owner back tomorrow cause I'm relocating to that area. I need a place I can depend on as far as friendly,definitely clean and access to continue a small business I run!! And that my fiancé and I can prepare for our wedding in a few weeks!! The sign outside says $45 per night/$180 per week. Anyone else that can send personal thoughts please do so!!Thanks.

It was awful you might as well sleep in the garbage people are awful rude arrogant and shouldn't be allowed to treat people like they do they throw people out of there rooms even though they have paid that's if you ask for a bar of soap or a towel .. the price is not the price they advertise they put another 100 dollars on the price of a room for a week. These people are Korean and understand English as I spoke to them but they pretend they don't understand when your asking for a towel or soap ..and to top it alk the rooms are filthy. ..

They have ads all over craigslist listing a weekly rate of $175. When you get there they jack up the price to $250 with a $50 deposit. They will say the cheaper rooms are full but there were only 2 other cars parked there. Not a bad price but that is dishonest and frustrating. Ill bet they try to find any reason to keep the deposit. They dont have a valid phone number listed anywhere, another big red flag. Also their rooms smell musty and probably have mold. Stay away unless you want to get a respiratory infection.

Just got kicked out for 'causing trouble' bc I connected my computer to the tv (being the cable never works). He tried to blame me for the room next to mine not having cable. Hadn't worked for all 2 other guests (both kicked out too) in the month I'd been there. They said I can't use my computer. He threatened to call the police lol I just said bye. Odd business strategy. 😆🤣🤦‍♂️
