Customer Reviews
We cannot speak highly enough about our three day visit to the Mountain View Grand -- the view, the service, the ambiance, and the accomodations all exceeded our expectations. We came for complete relaxation and respite and the staff made sure we did! From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone we interacted with did all they could to help us feel at home. The wait staff in the dining room took exceptional care of us and we came to look forward to meals to talk with them again. We have recommended the Mountain View to all our friends and one couple is coming up in a few weeks. How lucky for them!
Positive: View. Bartender on Tuesday afternoon was very nice Monday night not so much Negative: Don?t like the new bar dining room setup. Not cozy at all, very limited menu
We had booked the king vista room thru Expedia . When we arrived we did not get that but a much smaller room with a view of the roof and windows half blocked out. I spoke with a wonderful woman, Leah, at the reservation desk. She was so helpful and happy to assist me in making our visit very pleasant. She looked up other rooms that were comparable to what we booked but there were none. She then upgraded us to a much nicer room. It was great! Again Leah was so helpful and made everything so pleasant . Thank you Leah! We also booked the sleigh ride at the barn. We were told the ride would be 45 minutes. The driver of the sleigh was so nice but the ride only lasted 20 minutes. $40 each for 2 people , spent $80 for 20 minutes. Nice ride but wished it was longer . We had dinner a
We had a really lovely stay at the Mountain View Grand Inn and would absolutely return, especially as a family with young children. This would have been a five-star experience if not for some operational inefficiencies, primarily around food and beverage service.||The biggest challenge was the bar and casual dining service. On multiple occasions it took 30 minutes or more just standing in line to order a drink or food. The staff themselves were incredibly kind, hardworking, and clearly doing their best, but the resort felt understaffed, and the systems in place did not seem well organized for the volume of guests. With a bit more staffing and improved flow, this would make a huge difference.||Room service was overall solid and very convenient with two young kids. There were a few misses (t
We spent a few days mid week at the hotel we used it as a base for snowmobiling in the area The hotel has direct access to the trails and is a short ride to corridor five. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff, especially the bartenders and waitresses were fantastic! The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. While we didn’t use the pool, we did check it out, and it looked very nice. plenty of other things to do including cross-country ski snowshoe and even curling! There is a small petting farm on the property, which is great for kids they have llamas and alpacas as well as chickens, goats, and even turkeys. Will definitely be staying here again.
