Mount Ayr Inn and Suites

Basic hotel! Rooms are always clean, staff are always cheerful and happy to assist. Hotel is right across from gas station, which is awesome! Breakfast is included in hotel stays and other guests can eat for an extra fee. Hotel is quiet at night with doors locking at 10pm.

Rooms were clean, common areas such as stairways could have been better kept. Stayed on second floor, no elevator that I could find. I'm still somewhat young so no problem. Shower had good pressure and drained properly. Front desk people were surly, had to really try to even get them to smile. ||Didn't eat the breakfast, but signs everywhere about a $10 per person charges if non-hotel guests were to join you for continental breakfast. I guess that has been an issue with the locals- which there were some "interesting" people hanging around.||Probably will bite my lip and stay there again if forced to do so, but definitely not looking forward to it.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and updated. Great location for my visit to see family. My only complaint was the bed was not to our liking, a little worn and lumpy. Other than that excellent!

I've stayed here 20+ nights so far in the last couple of months, the manager is absolutely awesome as well as the rest of the staff! The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are always clean. I travel weekly for business, and considering the size of the town, it is somewhat rare to have a place as nice as this to stay at.

The service was impeccable. Kathy, the lady at the reception made me and my family fell right at home. Her hospitality was amazing. Definitely will come back to this establishment, it was an awesome experience staying here. I recommend this place for everyone. Everyone was so polite.
