Motel 89

This is a small town, Mom and Pop hotel in a very rural area (population in the 200's). It's the only motel for many miles around. The price was only $35 a night. The owner is very nice. Sadly the hotel isn't as nice as she is. The room was small and outdated. Ours had a full size bed. It's a tight fit when you are used to a queen. We did have a refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and free wi-fi. The bathroom was small with a stand up shower, no tub. It has been updated though. The only housekeeping we received during our 4 night stay was towels. This hotel may be best for a quick nights rest as you travel through Minnesota.

Beds were shockingly comfy. Owners lived on premises and very nice. Only hotel in town. Go ahead and stay. Clean but older.

Not many places to stay in that town. Glad I stayed there very nice host/ owner. The rooms have been updated. Very clean and close to everything in town. I will be coming back next summer. Best 4 wheeler trails in the state.

Stayed here while visiting with family. Cute little town and friendly hospitality everywhere. Bonus that I could play Pokémon Go in the town 😁 There is a little Co-Op for limited groceries,a gas station, a cafe, and a bar and grill.

Great place for the price. We stayed here while we were grouse hunting and it was exactly what he hoped it was. It is convenient to stay here instead of driving back home each night. We really love this place.
