Motel 81

A little rough around the edges but affordable and convenient. Our host was helpful, brought extra towels to our room. A one-story motel where you can park in front of your door. Older motel was renovated a few years ago but showing wear & need for TLC in some places. Comfortable beds & pillows. Fridge & microwave. Excellent wifi, good shower. I-81 is nearby: road noise was intrusive until we turned A/C fan up. The other side of the building is probably better. Fabulous old neon sign sadly no longer works.

Mattress had yellow old urine stains. I didn’t stay in the room for that reason and left immediately. Office refused to return my money

If I could give it no stars I would. That's what they gave me. Nothing. They took my money and then denied me my room when I got there. Said they over booked. Said the owner was traveling out of country and would take care of it when they got back. Which they didn't. You'd been better off booking space in a ditch on the side of the interstate.

After ringing the door bell and calling the number the young man in his pj pants and hoodie let us in . Didn’t have to show id paid 83 dollars with the credit card and was handed dirty folded towels . Got to the room , it was not cleaned from previous person , trash was sitting in front of the fridge pillows were wrinkled and folded in half but I was was so tired and needed sleep that’s the only reason I stayed the 4 hrs I did . I slept in my clothes on top of the cover . Was also a pad lock on the floor, room spelled like bug spray .

This is the worst place that I have ever stayed. They stated newly renovated however, the amenities are not there ie: thw tv did not work, absolutely nowhere to plug up your phone(had to move the bed in order to plug up my phone, the towels were dirty( with hair, and stain marks). The floors were dirty, the tub was filthy, the bathroom mirror was filthy tooth paste splatter, the bathroom was completely disgusting. The walls had white plaster from an inexperienced repair person, and NO RUNNING WATER. THIS PLACE WAS A NIGHTMARE. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION, not even to my worst enemy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!
