Motel 6 Westminster, CA - South - Long Beach Area

This is the best Motel 6 I've ever experienced, and I believe there is a thoughtful owner/manager behind the scenes. (1) The parking lot is notably clean; even a cigarette butt is hard to find. That only happens if employees are actively picking up trash in the parking lot every week. (2) The rooms are clean. I've been in Motel 6's before where it smells like smoke and where the comforter didn't even seem to be washed. Not here! Comforter is perfect, sheets are perfect, everything is cleaned/wiped down, not a trace of the smell of smoke. On top of all that, they don't use carpets in this Motel 6, which means their floors can be and are clean too. (3) The owner (I assume) has installed a strip of lights behind the headboard of the beds. This is a very thoughtful move in an attempt to allow

Positive: The awesome staff!! The manager is helpful and the desk clerks, especially the young lady went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the MOST -affordable -fitting to my wants and needs Negative: Room 209 needs help it's the one in the reviews where the lady says the door does NOT shut all the way!!?? Well, the toilet does NOT flush all the way either. It needs a snake!!!!

We planned to stay 2 nights due to price and proximity to beaches. However, we regretted even staying one night. Within minutes of checking in, it was evident groups of adults were partying in rooms. Police came due to someone having “too much fun.” There were clearly sketchy “regulars” here who seemed to have their run of the place.||||One of the comforters had a huge nasty stain on it. The mattress we’re old terrible spring ones and two beds hardly fit in the room. ||||The pool looked gross. The bathtub was gross, too. Both old and need a good scrub. Most of the room was grimy. The smoke smell was unbearable.||||The bathroom sink was new and shiny as pictured. The staff was super nice.

So I just had the greatest experience with a kiosk for signing into the room but the best part about it was the person that was on the screen helping me and his name was SEVEN. I'm an old man and I know the difference between bad and good service. I know the difference between good service and great service. So you can have good service and great service but you can only have one the best service. I felt that SEVEN and this kiosk was the best service. Thank you very much.

I want to thank you Seven for being so friendly and polite. This is our first time using the Kiosk to check it. It was awsome!!! The service was amazing but these rooms are so run down and not clean.....its actually kinda sad. The smell of the room alone is something to complain about. It smells like mold, cigarettes and backed up plumbing. We had to buy air freshener to somewhat tolerate the smell. The top of the door doesn't close, the curtains dont close all the way, the walls are filthy, the creepy door that connects the rooms dont go all the way down so you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room. The people next door opened and closed the door all night and morning. I doubt they slept at all cause we didn't. And this is the dumbest shower I have ever seen in my life!!! The beds are hor
