Motel 6 Southgate, MI - Detroit

This is the friendliest atmosphere I have ever experienced as an extended stay guest. The owners are really doing a fantastic job on renovating and also restoring this motels reputation. Staff, specifically Rachel, Brittany and John go out of their way on a daily basis to accommodate us and the cleaning staff is amazing! We truly appreciate you all❤️ I highly recommend this place for a clean, comfortable stay with very reasonable rates.

Stayed here with my family of four for the first time and was genuinely impressed. The rooms are brand new and super clean. The kitchenette was perfect to prepare some small meals in between eating out. My kids enjoyed the pool also. The staff at the front desk is friendly and responsive, especially the young man named John. Location is easy to get to from the airport and easy access downtown. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I had a great stays at this property. Reasonably priced for what was offered. Rooms were slightly dated but was informed by management that property was under new ownership and much renovations were in the works. New parking lot lights for better visibility and new dog bag pick up stations. Nice to walk my coconut corn husky and not having to worry about walking far to pick up my dog droppings
