Motel 6 Rigby, ID

Pros: The front desk people were all very kind and helpful and the room seemed clean. We loved that it's located directly next to a gas station, arbys, wendys and walking distance to a pizza hut. There is also complimentary coffee, yea and hot chocolate in the lobby as well as snacks they have for sale. Cons: The toilet refused to successfully flush (the bowl would fill up and then slowly drain leaving paper behind) I borrowed a plunger from the front desk but it didn't fix the issue. Taking a shower was like being in a tornado in that the curtain blew everywhere causing water to get all over the floor. Overall price was good and in a safe area with lots to eat but there are some things that could be corrected for improvement.

Positive: Close to were the event we were attending was. Negative: TV did not work. Was not hooked up and TV needed a separate remote to work. The lady at the front desk was able to find a cable to go from the cable box to TV but, no remote for the TV. She was going to give us a discount for this. Did not recieve.

Plain Jane room. Bathroom was so small you had to close the door to get inside. Toilet paper dispenser was broken. Shower looked dirty. Very echoey room without furniture. Could not hear the TV no matter how loud. No ventilation, windows were wet when we woke up. Water was cloudy, didn't want to drink it. But it was right next to a gas station, which was nice. But for the price, it was the cheapest place to crash in town.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the front office lady in the afternoons was nice. Aside from that, I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel. The window heater/cooler was so loud and finicky it kept us up all night. It was so loud, and either full blast freezing, or off and left us hot. There wasn’t even a cup to get a drink from the sink. No in room coffee, and even coffee in the lobby was empty. I asked 2 different people for coffee. The afternoon lady was nice, the morning lady was rude and snippy. Seems management knew coffee was out and had no intention of getting more. Shower was scalding or freezing, and the stinky curtain kept sticking to me in the shower. Pillows were flat and lumpy. I wish I had driven a few more mins up the road to stay in a decent h

Perfect location right before Rexburg and Idaho Falls. The front desk are very kind and help me find discounts that I didn’t even know about. The room was very clean And it was at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this hotel. This hotel has great front desk employees
