Motel 6 Niantic, CT - New London

My stay wasn't the best, as I stay in a different hotel every weekend and I know what good customer service is. I arrived on Friday, February 20, 2026, and on Saturday morning, before leaving at 7:00 am, I called the front desk to request housekeeper services, but no one answered. I went to the front desk, but there was no one there, so I left without being helped. Hours later, I sent a message that wasn't read or answered, and when I arrived back at the hotel around 2:00 pm, I mentioned it, and they offered me the service, but it was too late to sit and wait in the lobby. Later, I went back to borrow a phone charger and some coffee for my room. They lent me the charger, but they never sent the coffee. On Saturday around 8 pm, I left my room to return the charger and saw the front desk emp

This motel and their staff are AMAZING! Due to circumstances my family and I stayed there for an extended stay. We were treated like family, staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was top tier. Staying there we always felt safe and welcome. We will be planning a stay cation there very soon to come back and visit.

Excellent location in the center of all stores, eateries, and highways! The front desk is 24/7 and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and incredibly clean. I felt very very safe and never heard a noise of any kind during my stay. Couldn't expect more staying anywhere else. I will be returning for a weeks stay soon. Thank You Motel 6 Staff! Positive: Nothing it was awful Negative: Everything it was a filthy room and this is after they don’t have the original room that I booked available I kept getting bumped down, bumped down and they charged me more for a crappy room

The establishment is dirty, the housekeeping does not do anything really. The owner will try to overcharge you so just pay attention to him or whoever is ringing you out. I had to stay at this establishment for over a month and it was disgusting. Police and ambulances every night multiple times a night. And just dirty (gross) conditions. And again watch the owner (or whoever rings you out) as they have tried to overcharge me in the past. I hope this helps someone!
